White Rock Goes to War

It was a basketball battle between the White Rock Christian Warriors and the Vancouver College Fighting Irish on Friday, March 13.

The two teams faced off in the semifinals of the 2009 Boys Triple-A Provincials. There was tremendous competition between them and even more support from fans in attendance at the PNE Agrodome.

When the final buzzer sounded, Vancouver College won 61-58 and a defeated WRCA left with their cheerleading squad. Vancouver College lost in the finals to St. George’s School.
